Chocolate Orange Truffles

So once I’d made all that Chocolate Orange Marmalade, I had to eat it, obviously.

Waste not want not and all that.

Thing is I had quite a bit, so came up with the idea that maybe, just maybe, I could turn them into bars or truffles or something using Protein Pow Cooking Mixes. I chickened out of bars in case they didn’t set properly (they would have been fine in hindsight), so here’s the result:

Chocolate Orange Truffles


1 small jar (about 170g) Chocolate Orange Marmalade < click here
100g Protein Pow Whey Mix (the pea one would work fine too)
Cocoa powder, for dusting

Empty the marmalade into a bowl, add the Pow Whey Mix, and give it a good stir.

It should be stiff enough to roll into balls, so add more Pow mix or a little water as needed.
Roll into balls, then roll in cocoa powder.

Store in the fridge (or even the freezer for little frozen chocolate treats!)
