I LOVE pancakes! Breakfast, lunch, supper, snack, anytime is pancake time and every day is pancake day.
Why? Well for starters you can make them in 5 minutes, literally. Suits me.
Secondly, they can be any flavour, again literally, in the world. I see a lot of sweet pancakes and baking going on on social media, but this savoury pancake for lunch was delicious.
INGREDIENTS
60g Protein Pow Whey baking mix
1 egg
50ml chicken/veg stock
1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp basil
1 garlic clove, crushed
¼ tsp baking powder
Oil for greasing pan
METHOD
Heat the oil in the pan.
Mix all the batter ingredients together and fry in the hot pan either as one large pancake or 3 small ones. Serve with a green salad.
